Our Fees
Psychologist and Therapist Fees
Private practice therapy fees at Millennium cover a range.
The average cost for a 55-minute session is $220.
Initial appointments, couples counselling, family therapy sessions and specialised assessments may be longer and exceed this average.

Psychiatrist Fees
Psychiatrist Fees. These currently are $440 for an initial session of 55 minutes and $220 for a follow-up session of 30 minutes.
Funding Subsidies
Some insurance policies cover clinical psychology and psychiatric services. Check your policy or contact your insurer.
ACC provides cover for psychological therapy related to sexual trauma and trauma from physical injury incurred both in New Zealand and overseas. The cover is available as long as the overseas absence is no more than 6 months and the normal place of residence is New Zealand or as long as the client is employed by the NZ Armed Forces or the NZ Diplomatic Services.
Some workplaces also provide funding for a set number of therapy sessions through their Employee Assistance Programmes. Check with your company whether they provide this service.
