Megan Fowler is a registered Clinical Psychologist who is a full member of the New Zealand Psychological Society (NZPsS), and the Institute of Clinical Psychology (ICP). She provides comprehensive psychological assessment and therapy for a wide range of emotional, behavioural, developmental and parenting difficulties for children, adolescents, young adults up to 25 years of age, and their parents. She is also a specialist Paediatric Neuropsychologist with expertise in working with children and adolescents who have acquired brain injuries, neurological or neurodevelopmental disorders, or cognitive and learning difficulties.
Megan’s approach to therapy is family systems based and informed by psychodynamic and attachment based theories. She is also guided by other evidence based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
