Paul assists his clients to address the effects that stress, changes, or losses can have on their mental health. These can lead to developing anxiety; depression; PTSD; and generally not coping well. Unhelpful responses and attempts to cope with these can lead to problems such as feeling isolated and lonely, anxious and agitated, engaging in risky behaviour, working too hard and using alcohol or drugs to cope with distress. Paul offers treatment to successfully address all the above difficulties; and he has specialist expertise in treating alcohol and drug problems.
