MA (Hons), Diploma of Clinical Psychology, Registered Psychologist, Chartered Psychologist (U.K.), formerly a Registered Nurse.
Eileen Swan has a varied background, working as a Clinical Psychologist both in New Zealand and England. She was at the Leslie Centre for six years working as a psychologist and family therapist with a wide range of presenting problems, including four years as Managing Psychologist, Specialist Services, CYF followed by three years working in England in primary care, Health Psychology and at the Wallingford Forensic Unit.
She has testified as an expert witness in Family, District and High Courts in both New Zealand and England. More recently Eileen was a Manager at ADHB and Clinical Manager at Refugees as Survivors, Mangere.
Eileen has worked for many years both as a clinician and a manager and is particularly interested in working with depression and anxiety, using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
